Q. What is Vivier’s animal testing policy? Is Vivier a cruelty-free company?

A. At Vivier, we love animals and most of us are pet owners. We do not test our products or ingredients on animals. We use the highest pharmaceutical-grade quality ingredients and patented skin care technology to deliver the most visible results for your skin.

Q. Does Vivier use animal derivatives in the products; are the products Vegan?

A. Most of our products are Vegan and do not contain any animal derivatives. You may verify an individual product’s ingredient list directly on our website if specifically looking for Vegan products.

Q. Are there parabens in Vivier skin care solutions?

A. Yes, some Vivier skin care solutions contain parabens. Parabens are the most widely used and effective preservatives approved by Health Canada and the FDA for cosmetics and pharmaceutical drug products. Parabens continue to be fully regulated and recognized as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) by Health Canada and the FDA. Vivier uses pharmaceutical grade ingredients.

Q. Are Vivier skin care solutions Reef Safe?

A. For consumers looking for “reef safe” options, our Triple Protection Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 does not contain any Octinoxate or Oxybenzone.

On May 1st, 2018, Hawaii became the first state in the USA to pass a law (Bill 2571) forbidding the use of sunscreen containing Octinoxate or Oxybenzone. At this time, only one other city, Key West in Florida has followed suit while others are waiting for more conclusive studies.

We, at Vivier Pharma, take consumer and environment safety extremely seriously and only use ingredients that are approved by Health Canada and the FDA. We continue to monitor this situation closely.

Q. Are Vivier skin care solutions safe to use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

A. Vivier skin care solutions are not tested on pregnant or nursing women. We recommend consulting your physician. Our ingredients are available directly on our website.

Q. I have an allergy; can I use Vivier skin care solutions?

A. With any allergy concern, we recommend verifying all ingredients with your physician or allergy specialist before use. Our ingredients are available directly on our website.

Q. Are Vivier skin care solutions organic?

A. The ingredients used in Vivier skin care solutions are plant-based, naturally derived or synthetic ingredients that are pharmaceutical-grade and highly purified. Each ingredient in the formulation is carefully selected by a pharmacist in the development process to deliver the most visible results while meeting the highest quality and safety standards approved by Health Canada and the FDA. Q. Are Vivier skin care solutions Fragrance-free?

A. Most of our skin care solutions are fragrance-free. If a fragrance is used, it will be indicated in the ingredient list.

Q. Do your skin care solutions have an expiration date?

A. For cosmetic products, it is recommended they are used within 6 months after opening. This is indicated with the following symbol on the box.
For drug products with Drug Identification Number (DIN) or Natural Product Number (NPN), the expiration date will be indicated on the outer box and inside container.

Q. My serum has turned yellow, is it still good to use?

A. L-Ascorbic Acid USP (pure Vitamin C), the key ingredient found in Vivier’s USP Vitamin C serums, will tend to change to a light yellow color with time. This change in color is natural and will not significantly alter the product’s effectiveness. Once opened, the serums are recommended to be used within 6 months.

Q. In what order do I apply my products?

A. We recommend the following steps:
1. Prepare (Cleanse & Tone)
2. Target (Eye Contour, Serum, Speciality Product & Exfoliant)
3. Moisturize
4. Protect (AM only)

Q. How long does it take to see results?

A. With regular use and applied as directed, results can be seen in as little as 4 weeks. Results may vary.

Q. Is your packaging recyclable?

A. Our packaging that is recyclable is identified with the recycling symbol on the containers.
All our skin care solutions are packaged in boxes that are made from certified sustainable forestry initiative (SFI) sources sfiprogram.org.
